About Polished Plaster

Lime plaster dates back thousands of years and has been one of the most used materials in buildings and is very much a part of todays infrastructure. Venetian Polished Plaster was reinvented in the renaissance period in a time when Italian Architecture was at it's peak. Along with it's beautiful ceiling paintings Marmorino and Stucco polished plaster came to be used in some of the most stunning buildings in the world. It soon spread across Venice and Italy and today has become almost mainstream in many prestigious buildings across Europe and globally.

Venetian Polished plaster is made of lime plaster, marble and pigments combined and then compressed to create a contemporary range of beautiful finishes in shine, depth, colour and pattern. It is then waxed to add to the soft and yet sumtuous quality.

Decorative Space uses these finishes to create a beautiful and sophisticated impact or an elegant and sential experience in your premises depending on your style.
